Good Friday, or Good WEDNESDAY?

The cross of Christ is the door to paradise, the trick to paradise, the downfall of this devil, the uplifting of mankind, the consolation of our imprisonment, the trophy for our freedom.” The Cross of Christ is the protector of our faith, the assurance of our hope, along with the throne of love. It is also the sign of God’s mercy and also the evidence of bias. You can send wishes to your lovers onĀ Good friday 2018 from our website.

Can you follow Jesus in his way of the cross with joy, trust, and confidence? Abbot Rupert of Deutz, early 12th century:

A friend suggested that Good Friday must be the best day to turn to God, or whomever you flip to. It is the afternoon of the Crucifixion- when one Man endured so much to fulfill a prophecy. I concur with her. Take some time this Good Friday to contemplate and reflect in your life. It is a day of profound sorrow for the Agony that started at a backyard on Thursday night and finished in the crucifixion on Good Friday.

We all have known heartache and pain, we’ve got love ones who are sick, and our world is experiencing intense climate upheavals, political and economic chaos, to all these and more, offer fervent prayers. To God, we devote ourselves.

This Good Friday, I’ll meditate on surrendering all of the pain and sorrow and the pieces of a broken heart. In addition to this, I will do an angel ritual for my sister who has Stage 4 lung cancer. She is beating the odds. She has a rather powerful Faith in God.

Those who are conversant with rituals, this is a good day to do you. I plan on a healing ritual
and also seek the help of Raphael and another ritual into the four Archangels:
Raphael- angel of healing of mind, body, soul and heart
Gabriel- angel of communication, understanding and to attain clarity of ideas
Michael- angel for protection from hidden and unwanted forces or energies.
Uriel- angel for light, protection, love and strength
Your guardian angel.

This can be as simple as lighting candles, place fresh plant or flowers on the table and importantly, think carefully about exactly what it is you’re praying for. Prepare for a solemn meditation in a quiet and
Peaceful location. Write down your goals for clarity. There are sites online with meditations to the Archangels for advice.

Excerpt from *Meditations for Good Friday from Ken Gardiner

We arrive at the closing moments of the earthly life of Christ; the most perfect human existence which has ever been lived. Notice how completely He identified with us. Everything we must confront, somewhere Jesus confronted something similar. Hunger, thirst, exhaustion, pain, being misunderstood, deserted, denied, betrayed. Eventually he died.

Have you understood how amazing that’s? For an instant, think only of the fact that we have a God who understands what it’s like to die. In everything that happens to us in life, we all can go to our God, our Jesus, and say, “Lord, life is not fair, life hurts,” and he replies, “I know, I really do know, for that happened to me too.” In dying, Christ showed a profound standard principle.
